Biography
Ugh, I hate writing bios. It's so much pressure to say something witty, yet succinct. Here's me: I'm 31. I have two kids, referred to here as TT Bird (age 8) and Lele (age 4. and 3/4, as she would say). The are interesting and funny and adorable and also nothing like I thought they'd be. Funny how that works, how we picture our kids as micro versions of ourselves and how they turn out- I don't know- not to be. Before I knew my kids, I imagined them as replicas of my ex husband and I, only better. Like super deluxe baby versions of us. But it turns out they are very much themselves. Even better than super deluxe versions of us.
But that's my kids. The bio is supposed to be about me. OK, I'm 31. I live in Florida, which is great because I'm close to my family and many of them live here, but which sucks because, contrary to what Jimmy Buffett may say, it's not necessarily Margaritaville down here. I'd probably move if I could. Except I love my house.
I love my house because buying it marked a whole new chapter in my life. It is, really and truly, my favorite place to be.
More on me...I'm a Leo. I have a BA in Linguistics. I am a raging Diet Coke addict. I cry relatively easily, and more often at happy things than sad things. I'm terrible about folding my laundry. And I got a Roomba for Christmas from my boyfriend and it has revolutionized my life. There.
